DESCRIPTION:The Congress of Black Women Ontario, Oshawa/Whitby Chapter invites you to our virtual Leave A Legacy Scholarship Ceremony, where we will honour and celebrate 3 remarkable Black youth who received our Leave A Legacy Scholarship this year, which was sponsored by Pepsico and TD Bank!\nWe are honoured to have 2 keynote speakers for our event: PG Case and Akuah Frempong!\nPita-Garth (PG) Case is a community advocate from Whitby and is the Executive Director of DurhamOne which is a not-for-profit that provides support opportunities to unify diverse groups in Durham Region.\nAkuah Frempong is a past Congress of Black Women of Canada scholarship recipient and is now the Chapter Secretary for the Oshawa/Whitby Chapter.
